The official statement from the North East England club on the matter read, “Newcastle United are delighted to confirm that Eddie Howe has returned to his duties at the club’s Training Centre. Eddie had recently been hospitalised with pneumonia and has now returned to work after a period of recovery. We thank supporters for their warm wishes”.
With just five matches in the Premier League 2024-25 season still remaining, Newcastle United have a great chance to make the UCL spots once again in recent years.
