Nashville, TennesseeThe Tennessee Titans have focused on hiring a new quarterbacks coach to aid in Will Levis’ development.

Bo Hardegree, a former interim offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders, is being hired by the Titans to serve as the quarterback coach and the newest addition to Brian Callahan’s 2024 coaching staff, per reports earlier this week.

Hardegree quickly entered the coaching field after concluding his playing career with the Vols in 2007. He accepted a position as a graduate assistant at Duke University. Hardegree interned at LSU from 2011 to 2013 before landing his first NFL coaching position with the Denver Broncos in 2024. This is also where Hardegree met Brian Callahan.

Callahan served as an offensive assistant for the 2014 Broncos under head coach John Fox.Hardegree was an offensive quality control coach during the same year. After Gary Kubiak replaced Fox, Callahan remained in Denver, while Hardegree joined Fox at the Chicago Bears.

After just one year in Chicago, Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase took over as head coach of the Miami Dolphins, prompting Hardegree to make another transfer. From 2016-2018, Hardegree coached quarterbacks Ryan Tannehill, Jay Cutler, and Brock Osweiler in Miami. In 2019, he rejoined Gase as an offensive assistant with the New York Jets.

Hardegree’s next opportunity to coach quarterbacks came with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, under head coach Josh McDaniels. Derek Carr, the Raiders quarterback, made the Pro Bowl in 2022 before leaving in free agency.
