Remorse? Nikita Zadorov claims he has no knowledge of how things transpired after he was traded by the Calgary Flames to the Vancouver Canucks.
In advance of his matchup with his old team on Saturday night at the Saddledome, Zadorov was asked if he would have rather that his trade request had stayed confidential following the morning skate.
The large defenseman replied, “No.” “I’m content with where I am right now.”
Zadorov was similarly brief when asked what had changed since the end of the previous season, when he expressed his ability to see himself spending the rest of his career with the Flames.
“I haven’t got a contract offer. That’s it,” he said.
