The Devils took the ice for the first time since their 6-3 Stadium Series victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.
The New Jersey Devils returned to the ice at 11:00 a.m. on Monday to prepare for their Tuesday night game against the Washington Capitals. The team rested on Sunday following a late night at MetLife Stadium for the 2024 NHL Stadium Series.
He continued to explain that he began walking 10 days after the accident and has been skating on the ice for the last two weeks.
“There is still a little bit of pain, but I think that’s normal,” he added. “It’s been six weeks now, but I feel ready.”
Head coach Lindy Ruff affirmed Siegenthaler’s availability to play, stating, “We’ll look at him for tomorrow’s game and getting back in.”
