When Corbin Burnes was traded to the Baltimore Orioles earlier this month, it looked that the Milwaukee Brewers’ future did not feature its top two pitchers from the previous years.
As it turns out, the Brewers merely lose Burnes. Brandon Woodruff, the team’s other ace, has allegedly signed a two-year free agent deal.
However, after having shoulder surgery in the offseason, Brewers fans will most likely not see him pitch until 2025.

According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, Woodruff has signed a two-year deal to return to the Brewers. This comes after he was non-tendered by the club last autumn, leaving him a free agent.
