Sad news: Bulldogs Prominent Player Announces Sudden Departure Due to Low Compensation by the Team

NRL Casualty Ward: Wait continues for Munster; Arrow, Saab ruled out

Cameron Munster, the Storm’s star playmaker, has been left out of their 22-man squad for Round 2 due to a groyne injury sustained during the pre-season.

The Queensland No.6 was originally scheduled for Round 1 before being a late withdrawal, but he will now have to wait until at least week three for his first run of the season.

Following the opening win over the Panthers, Coach Craig Bellamy stated that there is no clear timescale for Munster’s comeback, with the injury proving challenging to deal with.

“It’s good one day and then not so good the next,” Bellamy admitted.

“We’re not going to rush him back; we just want to make sure he’s 100% when he gets back.

Nelson Asofa-Solomona, Munster’s teammate, is still out due to a hamstring injury.

The Rabbitohs are missing representative forward Jai Arrow who injured his shoulder in the season-opener in Las Vegas earlier this month, while the Sea Eagles have disclosed winger Jason Saab is scheduled to miss six weeks with a high-grade hamstring injury suffered in the same game.

Josh Schuster, a Manly forward, will return to the NSW Cup after missing the Pre-Season Challenge and Round 1 due to a calf injury.
