Take the St. Louis Blues’ Oskar Sundqvist off the scoreboard.
The Blues announced a two-year agreement worth $3 million ($1.5 million average yearly value) for the 29-year-old, who was slated to become an unrestricted free agent. As a result, the player will remain in St. Louis.
Yes, Sundqvist agreed, “that’s crazy how it turned out.” “Playing for the Blues and being here has always made me happy. Staying here was my objective. It was much simpler knowing that ‘Army’ wanted me to stay after our chats. Yesterday, we had a great talk in which we both expressed our wants and feelings. I can’t wait to hopefully stay for another two years.”
Since joining the Blues in 2017, Sundqvist has contributed 21 points (15 assists and 6 goals) in 62 games. He has also remained healthy and been a key member of the team.
