Max King has re-signed with the Canterbury Bulldogs, effective at least through the end of the 2027 season, the team has revealed.
King, who was free agent at the end of the 2024 NRL season and has been able to talk with rival clubs since November 1 of last year, was reportedly being targeted by several rival clubs.
The next three seasons of King’s career will be spent in blue and white, despite the interest in an open market that has few forwards available on it—especially after the signings of players like Toby Rufolf and Jacob Saifiti earlier in the season. King has established himself as something of a forward pack leader at Belmore.
