What an alarming news for cubs : He has just resigned

The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal broke the initial news on Monday, shocking the MLB community with the Cubs’ announcement that former Brewers manager Craig Counsell would succeed David Ross in the managerial role.

The problem with this report, though, is that Ross’s resignation from the Cubs and his firing were never made public. He also had a contract that ran through 2025. This is the reason why the news confused a lot of admirers.

The news that Craig Counsell, a former Brewers manager, would succeed David Ross as manager of the Cubs startled the baseball world on Monday, as originally reported by Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

The problem with this report, though, is that Ross’s resignation or firing went unannounced by the Cubs. Additionally, his contract was valid through 2025. Because of this, a lot of fans were perplexed by the announcement.
