Trending News: Bills Straighten Out With Another Defensive Tackle In

The Buffalo Bills signed defensive tackle Austin Johnson to a one-year contract, the team announced on Thursday.

Johnson, who was chosen by the Tennessee Titans in 2016, started 17 games for the Los Angeles Chargers last season, his second with the team. He finished with 46 total tackles and one forced fumble.

“The person that I’ve heard about is to me what’s desirable to begin with, the type of person that he is, the type of professional that he is,” said head coach Sean McDermott, who stated that he did not have the opportunity to meet Jones during his visit to the facility.
