BRONCOS INJURY WOES DEEPEN AS LATEST STAR TO GO DOWN

In Thursday night’s exciting 34-32 loss to the Melbourne Storm, Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds aggravated his hamstring injury once more, continuing the team’s injury curse.

Just before halftime, the 33-year-old was knocked down during a harmless knee contact with Cameron Munster of Melbourne and was holding his right hamstring. Reynolds did not participate in the second half and was obviously upset.

According to Corey Parker of SEN, the Broncos will be without another key player for at least a month, which is a huge blow.

Parker told SENQ, “Adam is an experienced player, and you saw his frustration straight away when he grabbed his hamstring and punched the ground.”

“You immediately notice if you’ve done a hamstring exercise, and it takes at least four weeks.

“It all depends on how bad it is, but it might be worse. The Broncos have suffered a severe loss.

“We seen his influence last week against the Cowboys, and we even witnessed it in the first half (against the Storm).

“It didn’t look good, and we will wait for scans, but you need your best players on the field.”
