Rob Dillingham, a talented player from Kentucky who won SEC Sixth Man of the Year as a freshman, told ESPN that he is going to join the 2024 NBA Draft. With 89 points per game, UK finished with the second-best scoring offense in the country thanks to the 6-foot-2 guard who ignited the Wildcats off the bench.
Even though Dillingham still needs to improve defensively, the product of Hickory, North Carolina, showed early and often at UK that he possesses NBA-caliber offensive skill. In coach John Calipari’s 15th and last season at Kentucky, Dillingham averaged 15.2 points in just 23.3 minutes per game and also dishing out 3.9 assists per game. He and fellow freshman guard Reed Sheppard supplied offensive firepower from outside the starting lineup.
