Taylor Swift appears to have made a jab at Travis Kelce’s teammate, since he has already revealed his feelings toward Kadarius Toney, who appears to be the latest muse in one of Swift’s tracks from her new album “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Kadarius Toney, who plays with Kelce for the Kansas City Chiefs, has had a tough 2023 NFL season. Despite the Chiefs winning Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers, Toney was missing from the lineup, having been sidelined since Week 15’s game against the New England Patriots.
Swift’s lyrics allude to controversy: “Where’s the trophy?” He just ran up to me. When I arrive, contact the amateurs and remove them from the team. Ditch the clowns and getMany fans believe Swift is referring to the Chiefs’ improved performance without Toney on the field. Following the victory against the Patriots, the Chiefs won two of their next three games and won their third Super Bowl, all without Toney’s involvement.
