Report: The Sooners Key player is being suspended from all sports for placing a bet against…..

Oklahoma’s best rusher entering Saturday, junior walk-on Tawee Walker, was inactive in the Sooners’ 31-29 victory over UCF due to a “in-house suspension,” head coach Brent Venables stated afterward.

After Walker was not visible on the field during pregame warmups, OU Insider’s Parker Thune reported that he was out due to “a personal matter.”

Walker has 53 carries this season, totaling 239 yards and four touchdowns. He also averages 4.5 yards per rush and has seven receptions totaling 66 yards.

Without him, OU’s running game struggled until redshirt freshman Gavin Sawchuk stepped up in the fourth quarter. Walker is in his second season with Oklahoma, having transferred from Palomar Junior College.
