The Oilers defeated the Los Angeles Kings in five games and will have a long rest until their next series schedule is revealed. Of course, everyone knows they’ll be playing the Vancouver Canucks, which should make for an entertaining series.
McDavid was asked about the regular season’s opening night game versus the Canucks, and if the outcome was due to “you or them,” to which he replied, “It was so long ago.” He then shakes his head, struggling to find words, and finally replies, “I’m not even going to answer that, that was so long ago.”
