Former Wild forward Mitchell Chaffee signs a two-year, one-way contract deal to continue in Tampa Bay.

The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Monday that they have re-signed Chaffee to a two-year, one-way contract for $800,000.

Chaffee was a top college free agent whom the Wild were able to sign. He moved to the AHL with the Iowa Wild, where he appeared in 28 games his rookie season. Chaffee recorded two goals and 17 points.
