Breaking News: Hoosiers Confirm The Departure Of Another Star

Indiana will probably need to rebuild a large portion of its roster in 2024–2025 since it intends to stick with Mike Woodson for a fourth season. Due to graduation, fifth-year forward Anthony Walker and sixth-year starting point guard Xavier Johnson will not return, and sophomore center Kel’el Ware is predicted to be selected in the first round of the NBA draft.

Incoming 5-star freshman Liam McNeeley has requested to be freed from his national sign of intent, while co-Big Ten Freshman of the Year Mackenzie Mgbako may also explore the NBA draft waters.

Indiana’s season record was 19–14. Having turned down an invitation to participate in the NIT, the Hoosiers’ season came to an end in the Big Ten quarterfinals against Nebraska.

Georgia native Banks, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 10.6 minutes per game with 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds. He participated in 21 games.

Ball State transfer Sparks never saw regular playing action. Throughout 24 games, he averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds.
